my nephews

i have some pretty cute nephews, who say and do some pretty cute things.

austin is quite the orator, and loves to get up on his chair, a stool, or really anything that elevates him above his normal height, and pontificate. he's the master of his own soapbox. he usually starts with, "okay, listen up!" or "hey kids!" and then proceeds to talk on and on, occasionally saying a recognizable word. it's quite amusing.

carsten was in town this weekend for the baby blessing and he was holding madeleine, when she started to fuss. he looked down at her and then looked up at me and said, "i think there's something wrong with your baby," as he handed her back to me. the matter-of-fact tone was really funny coming from his little four-year old body.

matthew is also adorable and has just started to walk really solidly. he ambles around, getting into everything, and keeping us all on our toes. i can't wait until he starts to talk too.
