we were just outside on the back porch and madeleine was cradling three bubble containers in her arms. she leaned down towards the bubbles and said, "i love you." i couldn't tell if she was expressing her love for the bubbles, or telling me that she loved me, while distracted by the bubbles.
i chose to believe that it was for me and told her i love her too.
but it was probably directed at the bubbles. because she really loves bubbles.
