my sister gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 1:43am this morning, narrowly escaping an april fool's baby (not my favorite holiday. i know, i'm a holiday scrooge). elizabeth is absolutely adorable (look at that hair!) and a wonderful addition to our quickly growing quiver of wonderful nieces. madeleine will have so many fun cousins her age.
it's hard to believe that audrey and joseph have three kids now. i don't know why, but it seems like such a big jump from two.
madeleine and i got to go visit at the hospital today. elizabeth was very awake and very hungry, but she let me hold he for a while.
madeleine wasn't wild about me holding another baby, but she was quite curious about her.
