january in pictures

i have a blog? whoops.

i took these before church one sunday when the kids looked pretty put together and i realized that i hadn't taken very many pictures of them recently. i feel like we're in a goofy smile stage right now.

 

diane turned five at the end of january:

my parents came to visit at the end of january. we forgot to take any pictures while my dad was here, but my mom stayed a little longer and we got some with her before she left. it was so fun to have them visit.

jonathan did not want to take a picture with everyone, so that's the top of his head.

at school, madeleine's class was making 1000 scrolls, where they wrote their numbers all the way up to 1000. madeleine was so excited to do it that she worked on it for extra time at home and was the first to finish in her class.

jonathan likes tools. a lot. he also likes to organize and i found this in our bathroom one morning.

chocolate smoothie mustache:

while my mom was here, she took us all to the nail salon to get our nails shellacked. the girls (and i) loved it.
