back on madeleine's birthday, we told her she could pick one "experience" and she decided to go to the lynnwood indoor pool as a family. we finally got around to it at the beginning of february and the kids had a blast. makes me excited for our pool to open in about a month.
we made wax paper/crayon shaving hearts for our valentines. it's becoming an annual tradition.
the girls love making elaborate set ups with their stuffed animals and dolls on their beds. when did they get this many stuffed animals?
this isn't the best picture, but i was trying to capture diane's outfit. my girls love mixing. colors and patterns and they also love wearing knee high socks with capris in the winter, as if it makes a long pant.
jonathan likes to brush his teeth up on the window ledge in our bathroom. whatever gets them to brush, right?
during madeleine's mid-winter break, we spent a morning down at discovery park in magnolia. we hung out on the beach for a little while and then headed up to the sand pit on the bluffs. it was chilly, but fun to be by the water and out in the sun.
randy's mom came to visit at the end of february and we went down to meydenbauer beach in bellevue one day. it's a small park with a pretty view and the kids had fun sitting up on the lifeguard chairs.
the main reason for jeanie's visit was to go see rogers and hammerstein's cinderella with the girls and me. we went down to the paramount and had a great time. i love musicals and it was fun experiencing it with the girls and seeing some of the magic through their eyes.
waiting for the play to start:
