finish a handmade gift for diane.
this dress did not go as smoothly as madeleine's. that's a major understatement. this dress was a beast. not all knits are created equal. i did SO much seam ripping and even after this picture was taken, decided that the shirring (the scrunchy part in the middle made by using elastic thread) is not going to hold up to getting over diane's head. so, i seam ripped that and then seam ripped the side seams (again) so that i can put in an elastic casing for the waist instead. so technically, i haven't finished it yet.
