diane is in a very entertaining stage right now where she says hilarious things in an adorable little voice that is quickly starting to sound like her older sister's. diane is our night owl and even though we put the kids down at 7:30, she is usually still awake until about 9:30 in her room, and frequently outside of her room as she comes to tell us things. it's hard to get upset with her for coming out when she says such funny things and randy and i are constantly holding in our laughter as she tells us things with a very serious look on her face. i need to be better about writing down the things she says because i know that i am going to forget this stage too quickly.
last night, around 9:00, i heard diane barking out some kind of orders to madeleine and then she started fussing and went to see what was going on. as i approached her room, i realized that she was repeatedly saying, "madeleine! bring me my waterbottle!" which was over by madeleine's bed for some reason. when i walked into the room, i saw that madeleine was dead asleep and when i asked diane what was wrong, she said, "madeleine won't get me my waterbottle!"
