we had a really quiet easter around here. everyone stayed home from church because the girls still have their lovely coughs. the girls didn't seem to mind just staying home with randy and me and getting reacquainted with their toys after a couple days at my parents.
i did manage to pull out the easter bunny bags last week and my sister brought over some eggs with candy for the girls, so the girls weren't completely deprived of holiday celebration (we did actually talk about the real reason for the holiday as well). i have such thoughtful sisters.
goofing around with the bunny bags:
even though we didn't go to church, the girls insisted on getting on their dresses before the tiny easter egg hunt randy orchestrated in the backyard. i like how most days i can't avoid ragamuffin status if i try, but come sunday, those girls want to dress up no matter what.
after the girls quickly found all of the eggs, i made them sit on the stairs and try to look at the camera through the ridiculously bright sunlight for me. kind of cruel, so we went for one take and called it a day.

Look how happy they are to be home! Those are some good pictures.
When Ray was born you and Audrey could hardly be bothered. You two were your own set of entertainment. It was great.
