april in pictures

doing some catch up...

watching general conference together as a family. i had to document it because the kids actually sat like this for about half an hour. i didn't tell them they had to, they just wanted to.

we started letting jonathan walk on the way to school a little while ago. it's a little terrifying. and i'm pretty sure that we're quite the spectacle, since he rarely lets me change him out of his pajamas. also, i'm pretty sure that i have at least twelve heart attacks a day because of this boy.

aunt marte sent us some adorable easter plates and bowls. we may still be eating on them in june. my kids love them.

for spring break, we headed to boise to visit family. i was pretty nervous about the drive because jonathan has not been pleasant in the past, but he finally succumbed to the movie zombie inside of him and the kids happily watched movies most of the way. it was very nice for me.

 baths at grammy's house.

and fun arts and crafts.

we actually left before easter, but randy's mom put together a fun easter hunt for the kids. they loved it.

and they loved time with their cousins.

randy with his dad and his brother.

jonathan and uncle kyle:

this was the drive home. i think this is how we were all feeling about then.

here are some pictures from our own easter egg hunt at home:

we had a beautiful spring here and spent lots of time at the park.

diane came and told me that her pictures were ready for a picture. i came and found this:

i've been putting off the kids' well check-ups for a long time and once jonathan turned two, i decided to take them all in at once. i think our (new) pediatrician thought i was a little crazy, but it went fine and the kids were really well behaved.

flag football with the neighborhood. we love our neighbors.

this was an easter egg hunt with our babysitter's neighborhood. the kids got plenty of easter egg hunting this year.

those are my sullen children in the front.

one night, i told diane she had to take a shower and she refused, so i told her she could take a shower or go to bed (an hour and fifteen minutes early) and she opted to go to bed. she is a strong willed thing.

randy and i celebrated our 8th anniversary at the end of this month, so i made him take a picture with me. what a great guy.

I loved the picture of you and your kids on the drive home! You are brave to do a car trip by yourself!

oh no, randy was definitely with me on the trip. i should have made that clear. road trips alone are no fun.
