this weekend

we went swimming as a family (and had fun, despite the sad faces),

got in-n-out burgers to go and drove to the nearest park to eat them (don't want to wait too long or the burgers get cold),

the girls had a hard time focusing on eating with the playground right next to us. not great planning on our part. 

then we sat on a hill and watched while the girls played.

it was a fantastic day.
